The Role
The Commercial Assistant will work closely with the Commercial Management team to assist with the implementation of commercial strategies and plans to meet the organisation’s objectives.
Main Duties
* Identifying and assessing potential commercial opportunities and risks
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and vendors to enhance business partnerships
* Monitoring contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms and initiating appropriate actions to address any issues
* Collaborating with divisional teams to procure project requirements
* Assisting in running competitive tender processes across the supply chain
* Dealing with ad-hoc commercial enquiries
* Managing business insurance claims
The Candidate
* Sound knowledge of a commercial environment
* Experience in project costing and building commercial relationships
* Composed, organised, professional and resilient under pressure
* Able to produce and present clear reports and papers
* Experience using Contract Forms such as LOGIC/NEC 3 and 4/BIMCO
