My client in Oxford is in need of an Audit and Accounts Junior due to expansion.
The Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Building productive working relationships with clients as required.
2. Developing and applying your technical knowledge through on the job training and formal qualifications.
3. Preparing audit working papers for the areas that you are involved, including but not limited to bank, fixed assets, wages and salaries, debtors and creditors.
4. Attending clients stocktakes and reporting findings.
5. Assisting more senior members of staff in other areas of the file.
6. Preparing notes to summarise your findings and recommendations for the senior’s, manager’s and partner’s attention.
7. Posting the audit clients’ trial balances into statutory accounts format and updating disclosures as necessary.
8. Producing financial accounts in accordance with FRS 102 1A and FRS 105 as well as sole trader and partnership accounts.
9. Preparation of working papers/control accounts from incomplete accounting records.
10. Using accounting software to provide accurate reporting for Managers, Partners and clients.
11. Preparing basic corporation tax computations for clients.

About You
We would like to hear from you if you are a quick learner and can tick all of the below:
1. At least 1 years’ UK audit &/or accounts practice experience.
2. Educated to A-Level (or equivalent standard) or higher e.g. degree. You must have a minimum of 3 A Levels at grades A, B, B or higher.
3. Strong aptitude for IT, specifically Excel.
4. Exceptional attention to detail.
5. Proven communication skills, verbal and written.
6. A positive, confident and proactive attitude.
7. Enjoy working as part of a team and self-motivated.
8. Willingness to undertake and succeed in a range of professional studies.
