We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Key Account Manager where you will lead and deliver a profitable market share winning plan by working closely with key customers in our Veterinary Channel.
A day in the life of a Key Account Manager…
As a Key Account Manager, working in a fast-paced environment, you will manage the customer P&L, including revenue spend, market share and profit targets. This really is an exciting and challenging opportunity, which will see you develop key skills that could stand you in great position to embark on a progressive and successful sales career here at Nestlé.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
* Full management and accountability of Customer P&L, including Revenue, Spend, Market Share and Profit targets.
* Lead and manage customer relationships within the Veterinary and Vet Wholesale market.
* Lead customer engagement within Monthly Business Planning, in particular roadshows, Weekly Operational Review and Monthly Sales Review.
* Work with Veterinary Field team and Regional Leads to ensure aligned approach across our customer execution plans.
* Alongside Veterinary Field team, ensure all NPD successfully launched into customers.
* Support and manage Charity Partnership relationships.
* Manage rebate system for Veterinary Clinics, including liaising with Wholesalers, utilising data and managing process with the Field Team.
What will make you successful?
To be successful, you’ll already have some Account Management experience under your belt, ideally operating as a National Account Executive or Key Account Manager looking for a new opportunity.
You will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for the Purina Pet Care brand, you will be developing your leadership capability and have great project management skills coupled with your ability to influence across all levels. You will know the importance of being able to flex your style whilst working closely with another Key Account Manager to deliver the UK Veterinary Channel business.
You will also:
* Ideally have experience working with Veterinary customers being able to demonstrate your understanding and passion for Pet Nutrition.
* Be able to demonstrate an understanding of commercial and financial situations. Be comfortable when working collaboratively and cross functionally.
* Have a high level of attention to detail and ability to prioritise conflicting work demands.
* Challenger mindset! You will not be afraid to challenge when needed, navigating complexity, and providing clarity to stakeholders with clear recommendations.
