REClifts are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dual Skilled Lift and Escalator Engineer The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Lifts and Escalators and have experience in the maintenance, repair, of lifts and escalators. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work complies with health and safety regulations and meets high-quality standards. The Dual Skilled Lift and Escalator Engineer must be living a commutable distance from these areas: London, Gatwick, Heathrow, Woking, Guildford, Staines, Slough, Weybridge, Farnborough, Richmond, Redhill. The Lift & Escalator Company: This independent lift & escalator engineering company has recently been awarded over 1000 new units comprising of both passenger lifts and escalators to be maintained on our clients service portfolio. The Lift & Escalator Engineer Duties: Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs of lifts and escalators. Diagnose faults and carry out corrective repairs in a timely and efficient manner. Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Participate in the on-call rota to respond to emergency breakdowns as required. Ensure that work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures and company guidelines.Ideal Lift & Escalator Engineer Candidate: NVQ Level 3 in both Lift & Escalator Engineering (Desirable). NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering or Escalator Engineering (Essential) Proven experience in maintaining and repairing both lifts and escalators. Strong technical problem-solving skills. Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations related to lift and escalator systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Effective communication skills and a strong customer-focused approach.
