For further information https://www.blackfenschoolforgirls.co.uk/ About the Role We are looking for Examination Invigilators to join our existing team, to assist with the administration of all internal and public examinations. This is a very important role and you will be a highly valued member of the examinations team. You should be: · Reliable · Punctual · Flexible · with an air of authority and a genuine interest in helping our students of all ages to achieve their best by maintaining a calm orderly atmosphere in examinations, and at all times complying with regulations. You will be working in a large Sports Hall under the supervision of an experienced Lead Invigilator for either a whole day or a morning or afternoon sessions. It is essential that the successful applicant will possess good interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with matters calmly, swiftly and firmly, without being confrontational. Previous experience in working with secondary school age children will be a distinct advantage as would any previous supervision experience. Confidentiality inside and outside the workplace is essential. Candidates will need to be available between the hours of 08:15am – 15:00pm. This post is a customer-facing position and falls within the scope of the Code of Practice on English Language Requirement for Public Sector Workers. The school has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
