24 hour covering both North Tees and Hartlepool sites. Reporting to the Emergency Care Team Lead, the post holder will assist in the provision of an efficient, effective and comprehensive administrative service to clinicians and their associated staff in main work area and also throughout the trust as and when required in line with service needs.
Using appropriate technologies and equipment, and taking direction and guidance from the admin Team Lead where appropriate, the post holder will produce all work outputs to a high standard of quality that meets the organisations requirements for Information Governance, RMS, and CQC and is compliant with all associated policies, procedures and guidelines.
Being the first point of call for patients the the Emergency Care departments and to book patients onto the Systmone data base. Retrieve details for patients and insert onto Systmone. Booking follow up appointments as required. Assist in planning and prioritising of workload to ensure that all service requirements and priorities are met
Data entry and retrieval of results/information where appropriate through the effective use of available technologies.
Under the direction of the Admin Team Leader, assist in providing interim short-term cover throughout the work area where appropriate for instances such as sickness absence/annual leave etc.
Assist in ensuring a healthy, safe and secure working environment for self and work team.
Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required in line with service needs.
Demonstrate commitment to IWL principles and flexible working patterns, to meet the needs of the service and staff.

The Unscheduled Reception team provides care for patients accessing unscheduled care. Across both sites North Tees and Hartlepool, over a 24 hour period 7 days a week, working alongside a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that all patients receive an exceptional level of care.
The applicant will be expected to have an NVQ at level 2/3 in Business Administration (or equivalent)
experience of System One and Track Care would be advantageous.
