MFL Teacher Job Type: Full-time Location: Wyre & Fylde Salary: Competitive rates in line with Teacher Pay Scale Reed Education is seeking a dynamic MFL Teacher to join a secondary school in the Wyre & Fylde area on a long-term basis, starting immediately. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in MFL, primarily French, to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous. Utilise strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment. Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students. Implement strategies to promote student engagement and participation. Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons. Participate in school meetings and events. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Recent relevant experience teaching MFL, particularly French, at KS3 and KS4 levels. Experience at KS5 is beneficial. Excellent classroom practitioner with robust subject knowledge. Reliable, committed, and capable of acting as a good role model for students. Strong interpersonal skills, with attributes of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills. Must be punctual, patient, and confident when working with children.
