Job summary A medical receptionist role in a busy and fast growing surgery with ongoing training. We have a lovely team, both clinical and administrative, who work very closely alongside each other. Main duties of the job Main duties of the role are being the first point of contact for patients and visitors into the surgery. To assist patients in their queries. To work alongside the clinical staff and also within a busy dispensary providing medication to our patients. About us Bridge Street Surgery clinical team consists of 2 GP Partners, 4 salaried GPs, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 Health Care Assistants. The surgery also share clinical staff within the Primary Care Network who integrate closely within the whole surgery team. The administrative team consists of a Reception Supervisor, 5 Receptionists & 3 Secretaries. Bridge Street Surgery also have a dispensary, and 3 Dispensers, within the building and the Receptionist will have time within their hours to work on the dispensary reception making the role very varied. As a team everyone is very friendly and regularly arrange meals and days out.
