Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Work on heavy machinery, ensuring manufacturing plants are safe, functional, and efficient.
* Complete daily maintenance to a high standard.
Conduct mechanical and health and safety tests to ensure systems are reliable.
* Manage site breakdowns by identifying and repairing faults.
* Suggest innovative ideas to enhance production efficiency.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, prioritising safety in all tasks.
* Tackle tasks both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in dusty or confined spaces – full protective equipment and safety support will always be provided.
