Main duties of the job
* To provide high quality clinical care to patients, in line with the Trust values and in accordance with professional regulations.
* Accept delegated responsibility for specific activities/areas from senior Nurse in Charge.
* Work autonomously and with others to always deliver high standards of care to patients and their carers, autonomously as part of a team.
* Communicate in line with Trust values, to patients, carers, and staff at all times.
* Take every opportunity to continue to develop, practice and expand their own general and specialist nursing skills.

Governance
* Understanding of patient confidentiality, governance regulations, and trust’s policy surrounding this.
* Understanding of governance.
Clinical Skills and experience
* Demonstrates patient-focused approach.
* Demonstrate good time management and organisational skills.
* Remain calm under pressure.
* Completed medicine management, IV and venepuncture/cannulation courses.
Qualifications and Training
* Nursing Degree.
* Delivery of evidence-based practice.
* Evidence of facilitating learning in practice.
* Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development.
Personal/Professional Attributes
* NMC registered and understanding of NMC code of conduct.
* Newly qualified Nurse who has applied for NMC PIN.
Other Requirements
* Basic IT skills.
* Good level of spoken and written English is essential.
