Morwell Talent Solutions is excited to present an opportunity for a Temporary Purchase Ledger Supervisor at a leading multi-site organisation based in Cardiff. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing a busy purchase ledger function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. The role will be offered on a week by week basis as it is covering a period of sickness. However, there could be the possibility that the role could be extended at any time. My client is ideally seeking the successful candidate to start ASAP, ideally 2nd January if not before.
Key Requirements:
Experience as a Purchase Ledger Supervisor or in a similar role
Managing the purchase ledger inbox
Inputting all purchase invoices/credit notes onto Sage 200 for multiple companies ensuring all coding is correct
Preparing the weekly payment runs
Ensure new suppliers are set up correctly
Check VAT information for all suppliers
Reconcile supplier statements
Resolve any internal/external queries
Strong understanding of purchase ledger processes from start to finish
AAT qualified is an advantage
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Sage 200 experience highly advantageous
