About the Role We are seeking a technically-minded Paraplanner to provide comprehensive support to financial advisers through research, analysis, and documentation preparation. Paraplanner Responsibilities Participate in adviser debriefings following client meetings to gather essential information Interpret and analyse client data to identify appropriate financial solutions Utilise specialised research tools to support client goals and objectives Prepare comprehensive documentation including suitability letters, illustrations, and key features documents Collaborate with Technical and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence Contribute to the development and refinement of suitability report templates Process client cases on relevant platforms with precision and attention to detail Maintain impeccable client files and documentation in line with compliance requirements Identify and escalate potential risk issues appropriately Actively contribute to team development and company growth initiatives Pursue continuous professional development through industry knowledge enhancement Paraplanner Requirements Level 4 Diploma in Financial Services (with progression towards Level 6 Advanced Diploma) Practical understanding of retail financial products and regulatory framework Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent organisational abilities and effective time management Capacity to work under pressure and prioritise competing demands Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal Advanced IT competency, including financial planning software Problem-solving mindset with a methodical approach Benefits Competitive salary between £35k - £45k depending on experience and qualifications Generous 25 days annual holiday allowance Employer pension contribution of 3% Dedicated support for CII professional qualifications Death in Service policy Regular working hours: 8:45am - 5:15pm, Monday to Friday with early finishes throughout summer The Ideal Candidate The perfect candidate will combine technical expertise with a positive, proactive attitude.
