We're recruiting on behalf of our manufacturing client for their Sudbury plant for an 18-month FTC. We're looking to recruit a Project Engineer, someone who is looking to make a difference in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that is growing. The Person:
1. NVQ Level 3 trained (Apprentice Trained).
2. Motivated, Trustworthy, Effective communicator.
3. Experienced in a manufacturing environment.
The Role:
1. Supporting the Project Engineering Manager in developing the investment project charter and ensure that it is strictly followed throughout the project.
2. Manage and install capital engineering projects within approved budgets and agreed time scales.
3. Assist in the development of scope, schedule, and budget for new projects.
4. Assist the management of projects to completion within agreed timescales and costs and promote proper hygiene and safety standards.
5. Support full compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and site rules.
6. Commissioning of plant and equipment to predetermined standards.
7. Assist development of scope and budget for various projects up to £5 million; develop timing plans.
8. Manage and control the activities of third-party contractors on site.
9. Liaise with Operations and other on-site resources for project work and with R&D, Marketing, and Logistics regarding scope, time plan, and budget.
10. Assist multi-disciplined teams to achieve project targets.
11. Be aware of the environmental impact of role and compliance with site environmental requirements.
12. Reporting any SHE incidents or concerns.
13. Contribute towards site SHE objectives.
