We are currently hiring for Experienced Freezer Warehouse Operators, for our client's main distribution center for chilled and frozen products to supply chain supermarkets. This role is based in Bury. Only candidates with experience working in a Freezer Environment of -18 degrees will be considered for these roles. The rate of pay is £11.99 - £14.39 per hour (Subject to time of day/evening/night) Overtime is available and is paid at £14.99 - £19.18 per hour (Subject to time of day/evening/night) This is a full-time role working a 12-hour day shift and the hours of work: - 7am to 7pm Your Time at Work As a Warehouse Operator, you will be working in the Freezer Pod, which is -18 degrees. You will be required to receive, break down, load, and pick orders. Loads are then marshaled into lanes and loaded onto outbound delivery vehicles. Other duties include: - Breaking down stock on pallets - Picking stock into cages - Loading outgoing trailers Shifts are 12 hours, with 2 breaks (1x 30 min, and 1 x 15min), plus additional 10-minute breaks each hour to warm up. All breaks are paid. Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will have good knowledge of English language, both spoken and written. Must be happy to work in extreme temperatures. Some heavy lifting is involved in this role. Experience in a similar temperature environment is required.
