Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with a passion for delivering exceptional service? We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team at our Waste Treatment Plant in Cambridge.
* Annual Salary - £38,000
* Site located at CB25 9PG
Key Responsibilities
* Drive Large Goods Vehicles to collect and deliver waste or recycled products
* Operate a variety of vehicles, perform vehicle checks and routine maintenance
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness both inside and out
* Conduct daily checks, report defects to the workshop, and download digital and analogue data weekly
* Adhere to safety regulations and legislation while operating vehicles
* Complete tasks within set timeframes and ensure customer satisfaction
* Handle paperwork, including Duty of Care information
* Complete daily rounds, tipping at disposal/recycling or third-party sites
* Report customer issues, accidents, or near misses to the line manager
* Comply with safe working methods and wear appropriate safety clothing
* Represent a professional image to customers and other road users
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds a full current and clean driving licence (essential)
* Possesses an HGV Class 2 license (essential)
* Demonstrates flexibility, commitment, and enthusiasm for varying duties
* Can follow instructions and adhere to safety policies and procedures
* Works well as part of a team, showcasing positive team working skills
* Has experience working outdoors in all weather conditions and maintaining high service levels
* Can handle prolonged periods of sustained physical effort
