An exciting opportunity is available for Maternity leave cover for the Deputy Associate Director of Nursing role in the Specialist Medicine Division, working within the Directorate Management triumvirate team alongside the Divisional Director, Director of Operations & Associate Director of Nursing to lead a range of services.
You will need to be an outstanding Senior Nurse, motivating your team to deliver continuous improvements to patient care & experience, focussing on developing and nurturing the nursing team, a passion for governance as well as being a visible leader.

Main duties of the job
You will be part of developing and delivering improvements in changes to services across East London and beyond, through our many strategic partnerships and networks. You will work closely with the Divisional team and the wider senior management team at the Royal London and Mile End Hospitals. 1. Masters level education MSc or degree equivalent in related subject (willingness to commence MSc level degree)
2. First Level registered nurse

4. Experience working in a senior nursing role (8b or above).
5. Experience of audit in evaluating and developing a service
6. Change management experience
7. Experience of managing a budget
8. Experience in the supervision of staff and students, including HR issues
