DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an enthusiastic Component Service Engineer to join our team specializing in Service for our Comp Service Leadership business unit in Darlington. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 7th July 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
1. Supporting the identification, resolution and implementation of fixes on key product issues with Automotive OEMs
2. Initial data capture and Warranty claim information processing
3. Site visitation and field investigation for potential product issues
4. Supporting OEM account teams in finding resolutions to Customer issues
5. Component failure assessment and processing
6. Identification of Key Customer issues through data analysis
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
7. Currently working towards a degree in STEM Subject
8. Structured, analytical approach to problem solving
9. Flexible approach to work, able to work as part of a team and independently
10. Effective communication with a good attention to detail and tenacity
