Education and Training
£20 - £30 per hour
Responsibilities
* Provide English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting.
* Create individualised learning plans to cater to the specific needs of each student.
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to facilitate student learning and progress.
* Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
* Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to support students effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.
Minimum Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
* Experience working with students with SEN.
* Enhanced DBS check.
* Minimum of 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience, preferably with SEN students.
Desirable Qualifications
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs.
* Training in specific learning difficulties support.
Additional Information
* Part-time hours, flexible schedule.
* Work in an outreach environment, possibly visiting multiple locations.
* Collaborative work with school staff, parents, and external agencies.
