As part of our strategic expansion, we are seeking an Electrical Manager to oversee and manage our electrical operations in the South of England. This is a key leadership role offering an exciting opportunity to build and develop our team in the region, working on diverse projects across new builds, refurbishments, and maintenance contracts.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Manager to take responsibility for leading and overseeing electrical installations, ensuring compliance with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality control.
The Electrical Manager will be responsible for:
• Managing and supervising electricians working across multiple projects.
• Conducting inspections, signing off certificates, and ensuring all work meets NICEIC and BS 7671 compliance.
• Working closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth delivery of electrical projects.
• Implementing and enforcing health & safety protocols, reducing risks, and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Providing training, mentoring, and technical support to the team.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Team Management
• Lead, manage, and oversee electrical installations across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Supervise a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring high-quality work and compliance with regulations.
• Conduct site visits and inspections, ensuring all work is carried out to the correct standards.
• Manage project schedules, deadlines, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency.
• Work closely with site managers, engineers, and external contractors to coordinate work.
Technical Compliance & Quality Control
• Review, inspect, and certify electrical installations, ensuring all work adheres to 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Be responsible for signing off electrical work and submitting relevant certifications.
• Ensure compliance with NICEIC accreditation.
• Keep up to date with regulatory changes, ensuring company processes and practices remain compliant.
Health & Safety Leadership
• Ensure all electrical installations are carried out in line with Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and risk assessment requirements.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and toolbox talks.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness, ensuring compliance with electricity at work regulations.
• Investigate and report on any incidents or near misses, implementing corrective actions.
Client & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for electrical projects in London and the Southeast.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical advice and solutions to clients and colleagues where needed.
• Prepare reports, certifications, and documentation related to electrical works.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• NICEIC Qualified Supervisor status
• Proven experience in electrical project management and team supervision
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and certification processes
• Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
• Experience in social housing or facilities management
• NAPIT accreditation
• Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
