Job Description
Work Pattern: 07:30 - 15:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 12:30 Friday.
This role requires competence in general civil engineering and road maintenance activities, with experience in at least 8 of the following tasks, in accordance with the agreed skill standard:
* Road Construction
* Patching
* Drainage / Deep Drainage
* Kerbing
* Plant Operation
* Trenches
* Street Lighting
* HGV Winter Gritting
* Mono-blocking / Slabbing
* Safety at Roadworks
* Supervisory Skills
* Traffic Management Installation & Traffic Control
The successful candidate will operate as part of an operational team, deputise for the Specialist Foreperson when required, and participate in out-of-hours work including winter and summer stand-by rotas.
