The Work Capability Assessment (WCA) is designed to evaluate individuals' abilities rather than their limitations, aiming to support more disabled people and those with health conditions in finding work or moving closer to the labor market. Capita delivers these assessments on behalf of the Department for Communities (DfC). The Business Operations Assistant will perform clerical duties to support Business Operations. This office-based role involves maintaining accurate staff records across the account and tracking headcount changes, including facilitating headcount approval. The role also includes assisting with the staff onboarding and leaver processes, requesting system access and hardware, handling local procurement, facilitating expense approvals, and acting as a local systems administrator by raising and tracking IT incidents. Additionally, the Business Operations Assistant will provide administrative support to the Change team, including maintaining guidance documents and forms used by the business.
