Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our Child Health Department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. As part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary team—including Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Paediatricians, and nurses—you will receive support and supervision from colleagues across disciplines.
This role offers involvement in expanding and developing the post-diagnostic services, with psychological intervention skills being a key component. Training and development opportunities will be provided based on your needs.
Work Arrangements
The team supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements, including regular homeworking with appropriate IT equipment and support. Suitable alternative arrangements can be made for disabled applicants if necessary.
Responsibilities
* Provide highly specialist psychological assessments and formulations for children and young people with complex needs.
* Participate in multi-disciplinary assessments, including Autism assessments.
* Recommend strategies and advice to support neurodevelopmental needs of children and families.
* Conduct neuropsychological assessments and interventions for children and families with complex needs.
