An exciting opportunity has arisen for role of Clinical Lead within the Older Adult CMHT- Pennine.
We have an exciting opportunity to be able to offer a substantive position for a highly driven Band 7 Clinical Lead, within our Older Adult Community Mental Health service.
This is a full time position working 37.5 hours from Monday to Friday.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, who has experience in the Mental Health Field with an ambition to progress and develop in a clinical leadership role.
The service provides assessment and treatment to service users referred with a variety of mental health conditions within the community setting, including those identified with Dementia.
The team is multi-disciplinary and works closely with other mental health services and teams- covering a wide range of agencies, partners and shareholders.
The successful applicant will be passionate in delivering and leading on all aspects of Clinical Care within the Older Adult community, alongside community Transformation programmes, and able to demonstrate a robust understanding of supervision models and team functions specific to Older Adult Mental Health.

Main duties of the job
You should be able to demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and Skills, have good communication & organisational abilities, and have a positive attitude to the care of the Older Adult within a community setting.
It is essential that applicants are able to demonstrate experience of working at Band 6 level and above.
A robust programme of support, supervision and development will be offered to the successful candidate upon appointment.

Essential criteria
* Registered Mental Health Nurse with NMC
* Post-registration experience and/or evidence of formal courses and training at post graduate diploma level
* Clinical Supervision Training
Knowledge
Essential criteria
* Significant demonstrable post qualification experience at Band 6 or above working in a mental health community specialist setting or equivalent.
* Experience of developing, delivering and evaluating specialist programmes of care and risk management plans.
* Evidence of successful mentoring and/or supervision of junior members of staff including students.
Skills
Essential criteria
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate diplomacy, tact and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage highly stressful and emotive situations.
* Current knowledge of the policy and challenges facing NHS providers.
