About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Tax Incentives Team Manager to lead a team of Tax Analysts, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with expertise in tax incentives and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee a team of Tax Analysts, delegating tasks effectively.
* Monitor team performance to maintain high standards.
* Provide coaching and support to enhance efficiency.
* Foster a culture of excellence and continuous development.
* Review and approve tax calculations and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
* Manage amended corporation tax return submissions and additional information requests.
* Stay updated on tax incentive regulations and provide expert guidance.
* Improve systems and processes for better departmental function.
* Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory standards.
* Identify and mitigate risks related to tax incentive claims.
* Collaborate with other departments to enhance communication and alignment.
* Generate and review departmental reports as needed.
Skills and Experience Required:
Essential:
* Strong knowledge of corporate tax incentives, including R&D Tax Credits, Embedded Capital Allowances, and Land Remediation Relief.
* Proven experience managing a tax incentives team.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency with relevant technology.
Desirable:
* ATT / CTA qualification or equivalent.
* Experience working with multinational firms.
