We are currently looking for an HR Advisor (part-time) to join a public sector owned company based in Hereford, specialising in providing support services to the public sector. This role provides support in schools in the area.
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to provide a comprehensive, professional, high-quality advice and support service on the full range of HR disciplines to schools and academies.
An insight to the role:
1. Supporting clients with complex employee relation casework, by email/telephone/teams and onsite.
2. Acting as an investigating officer on a variety of employment matters.
3. Report writing and attending formal meetings.
4. Leading the development of school-based HR policies and procedures, working closely with Trade Union representatives.
5. Designing and delivering training sessions to clients on a variety of HR topics.
We are looking for someone who has:
1. A proven track record of managing and solving a range of complex HR casework including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence management, TUPE, redundancy, appraisal, and capability.
2. Experience of working within the schools' sector and providing advice in line with school-specific legislation.
3. Preferably fully CIPD qualified, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
4. Strong knowledge of employment law, excellent time management, and interpersonal skills.
5. The ability to make on-the-spot professional decisions in challenging environments.
6. A UK driving license and own car.
Job Title: HR Advisor - Schools.
Hours: 22.5 per week.
Location: Hybrid - Hereford/School sites with some home working.
Salary: £18,523- £19,730 actual salary (FTE £30,461- £32,446) based on a 22.5 hour week - full year working pattern dependent upon experience.
Contract: Permanent.
