Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in education? We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join in Indian Queens. A positive attitude and a passion for helping children learn are a must! This role offers 18.5 hours per week on a part-time basis covering general support duties. The school prides itself on placing a high priority on the welfare, social development, and happiness of the children regardless of age, ability, or background.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the class teacher in creating a positive learning environment
2. Support students in their academic and personal development
3. Help with classroom management and behavior strategies
4. Provide one-to-one or small group support as directed by the teacher
5. Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
Requirements:
1. A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for working with children
2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
3. Flexibility and adaptability to work with different age groups and in various subjects
4. A willingness to learn and develop professionally
5. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
