As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, it will be your responsibility to: Ensure adherence to GAAP and related book-keeping standards and principles; Check, prepare, and issue invoices to customers, and book the bills receivables accordingly. Produce statements of accounts, in line with defined accounting guidelines. Monitor and report on past-due accounts, in order to support respective decisions of accountable management. May check credit status and credit worthiness, and recommend changes in credit conditions, if necessary. May identify reasons for non-payment and recommend and follow up on actions to be taken.
