About the role:
* Full-time role, 8.30am-3.30pm Monday-Friday.
* £84- £95 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications.
* Start date: December 2024.
Main duties:
* Support holistic learning both in and out of the classroom as directed to by the class teacher.
* Create an inclusive and positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive
* Support the children in engaging them in learning activities and help support individual children in ways that suit their learning styles.
* De-escalate high stress situations and escalate concerns to appropriate staff members.
* Work in collaboration with staff members within the classroom and wider school community.
About you:
* Is an adaptable, proactive and collaborative team player.
* Is patient and understanding.
* Has had previous experience working with children in some educational/learning capacity.
* May have had previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
* Relevant qualifications preferred.
