Responsible for the cost-effective co-ordination and monitoring of deliveries and collections with in the Short Distance area and the accurate information inputted for the network. Key Responsibilities: Organisation of freight bookings via email, EDI, telephone and client software. Collation of data relating to UK and European freight bookings To ensure accurate enquiry of correct difference keys to indicate status of shipments in the supply chain. Support the effective planning operation in the inbound function for groupage and special requirements. Booking of vehicles, correct administration according to Dachser network standards. Correct administration and monitoring of Inbound operation and use of various Dachser Tools (including but not limited to Domino, Active Report, Vehicle Localisation, Collection Dispo) Meeting the designated department KPIs Cost accrual and processing of purchase invoices Effective communication with other departments in Northampton and the UK as well as other branches in the Network ensuring good working relations, and ensuring agreed service levels are met. Ensure compliance of standard operating procedures in daily processes and maintain quality standards of the company. To efficiently respond to customer requests for groupage services to provide cost effective and efficient solutions Ensure that all reporting procedures are complied with and that all paperwork is accurate and efficiently handled including but not limited to PODs, CUIFs loading and unloading paperwork.
