We are seeking motivated Auto Electricians to join our clients growing team. You will play a crucial role in producing high-quality trailers and vehicle bodies, either on the production line or within a specialised area. You will be responsible for installing and commissioning of 12V & 24V electrical systems on trailers and vehicle bodies. Candidates must have experience with lighting, battery, motor and PLC circuits and have previous experience with fault finding and diagnostics. Good manual skills and experience with crimping and soldering tools are key, with the ability to read from circuit drawings.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Following technical drawings and specification sheets
2. Installing and commissioning of electrical systems
3. Be able to work individually and within a team to meet production targets
4. Following clear instructions from team members and senior colleagues
5. Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations
6. Maintaining production area housekeeping
7. Minimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently
8. Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
Key skills and experience
1. Hands on manufacturing experience ideally in commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer manufacturing
2. Previous experience of wiring of electrical components and systems on HGV trailers
3. Demonstrate skillset using various hand tools
4. Ability to read and work from drawings
5. Ability to ensure production target output and quality is maintained

Working Hours:
Your hours of work will be 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday - Friday (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch each day) with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday. (nights may also be available hours to be confirmed)
You will be expected on occasion to work later in the evening or weekends as business needs require.
