Our client, a respected professional membership organisation, is looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to lead their marketing function and shape the voice of the organisation.
Location: Hybrid working with at least 3 days in-office
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week | Flexible working hours (core hours 10am–4pm). 3 days per week in office (Milton Keynes)
Reports to: CEO
Direct reports: Digital Services Officer
What you’ll do:
* Develop and deliver marketing strategies and annual plans to grow membership and raise awareness of the profession.
* Lead multi-channel campaigns that drive engagement, acquisition, and retention.
* Use data and insights to guide decision-making and evaluate effectiveness.
* Manage the member value proposition and ensure benefits remain attractive and competitive.
* Oversee content creation, including newsletters, marketing materials, and website content.
* Lead social media activity and stakeholder communications.
* Represent the organisation at key events and build strategic relationships.
What we’re looking for:
* Proven marketing experience, ideally within a membership or professional body.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational and project management skills.
* A strategic mind with the ability to also roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
* A friendly team player who can manage competing priorities with professionalism and good judgement.
* PR experience is a bonus.
