Our client, a leading accountancy and business advisory firm, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Director with a proven track record of success in driving growth within the European markets. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced rainmaker fluent in one or more key European languages, with expertise in tax, audit, and accounting, and a focus on mid-market clients.
Key Markets:
Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, France, Italy, and Spain. You will be appointed to the specific market based on your language skills and market expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and intermediaries across the targeted European market
* Driving business development efforts with a focus on mid-market clients in tax, audit, and accounting services
* Identifying and pursuing new client opportunities to expand the firm’s presence in your designated region(s)
* Developing tailored solutions to meet client needs, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of the market and the firm’s service offerings
* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high client satisfaction
* Representing the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility
* Staying up-to-date with market trends, client demands, and regulatory changes in the assigned markets
About You:
You are an accomplished business developer with an entrepreneurial mindset and deep expertise in one or more of the specified European markets. You thrive in building strong, long-lasting relationships and have a track record of successfully growing a client portfolio.
Profile:
* Native level or fluent speaker in one or more relevant languages: German, French, Italian or Spanish
* Strong business development experience, working with mid-market clients in tax, audit, or accounting
* Demonstrated success in winning and managing client accounts, with a focus on building long-term partnerships
* Deep understanding of the market dynamics, cultural nuances, and regulatory landscape in the specified region(s)
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team
* A recognised qualification in accounting, tax, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory
