Location: Lakeside Care Home, Reading Hours: 30 Shift Patterns range from: 7:30am to 1:30pm 1:30pm to 19:30pm 7:30am to 19:30pm Responsibilities as a Kitchen Assistant: Assisting the Cook: Aid in the preparation of vegetables and provide support during busy periods. Clean kitchen equipment, including cooker, oven hot plate, Bain Maries, Fridges, and Freezers as per the cleaning schedule. Follow the cleaning schedule directed by the Head Cook. Dispose of waste bags following health & safety and infection control procedures. Maintain cleanliness of tea trolleys, trays, and the dishwasher. Essential Skills, Characteristics, and Experience: Must hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above.
