A major Plastics company based in Tamworth are recruiting for a Facilities Engineer to join their successful team for a permanent opportunity!
Annual Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 (DOE)
Weekly Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30 – 16:00
Key Accountabilities:
1. Ensure all Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality requirements are met and operations including training and non-training conform to legislative requirements.
2. Developing and delivering planned maintenance plans to plant and equipment.
3. Ensuring that all electrical equipment is in safe working order in line with current regulations.
4. Ensuring that all certificates of compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant legislation.
5. Ensure recording daily maintenance activity.
6. Running an efficient repair reporting system.
7. Purchasing and stock control of plant equipment spares and consumables
8. Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
9. Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
Key Experiences and Skills Required:
10. Electrical qualification essential (17th/18th Edition)
11. Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical and HVAC
12. Understanding of preventative maintenance systems
13. Positive approach to the working environment.
14. Desirables Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:
15. Excellent level of numeracy and literacy.
16. Proficient use with IT systems
17. Good / Strong communication skills.
18. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
19. Awareness of modern maintenance techniques.
20. Strong team ethic with positive working attitudes
