Your Mission:
As a Media Sales Account Manager, you will be a key player in our client’s Marketing Sales team. Your primary goal is to drive multimedia revenue and foster strong client relationships. You'll engage with both existing and prospective clients, identifying their needs and delivering tailored marketing solutions that drive results.
What You’ll Do:
1. Build Your Pipeline: Use various sources to develop a robust pipeline of multimedia revenue. You’ll manage your territory or vertical, making regular contact with clients and cold-calling to uncover new opportunities.
2. Foster Client Relationships: Communicate effectively to make clients take notice. Through pre-call analysis, you’ll understand client needs, build rapport, and develop key accounts into multimedia customers.
3. Discover Client Needs: Engage with business decision-makers to uncover and confirm their needs, creating a sense of urgency and solidifying your relationship with them.
4. Position Solutions: Use your excellent communication skills to present compelling short and long-term solutions that address specific client needs, leveraging our client’s comprehensive digital and offline portfolio.
5. Close Deals: Master the art of closing. Handle objections, tell compelling stories, and aim to sign clients for extended periods. Ensure clear client expectations to facilitate upsell and renewal opportunities.
6. Exceed Client Expectations: Confidently discuss response metrics and use reporting tools to provide clients with meaningful insights. Turn data into actionable context to support client success.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Represent our client’s product portfolio as a sales professional in your territory/region.
2. Conduct B2B sales via telephone, booking appointments for multimedia solutions that meet client needs.
3. Maximise marketing spend in your category/territory, increasing business from key accounts and continuously sourcing new business.
4. Develop multimedia revenue streams through self-generated calls using various sources like lapsed customer reports and new business lead lists.
5. Maintain high standards of customer relations, service, and goodwill.
6. Grow unique customer count through effective territory and competitor management.
7. Plan and execute direct sales calls to build relationships and drive revenue.
8. Lead by example with creative multimedia campaigns that serve as best-in-class examples.
9. Identify and leverage digital marketing spend opportunities, collaborating with Digital Marketing Consultants.
10. Gain a strong understanding of our client’s solutions, including digital marketing.
11. Complete relevant training workshops and self-learn consistently via internal training resources.
12. Achieve targets and key objectives aligned with the Sales Career Path.
13. Stay motivated and focused under pressure, supporting Sales Managers and Directors with digital revenue opportunities.
