Salary: £12.82 - £12.83 per hour (Depending on experience)

Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome behavioural challenges? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join a mainstream secondary school in Fareham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students, providing guidance and encouragement to help them succeed academically and personally.
Responsibilities
* Support students with behavioural and emotional needs to engage positively in learning.
* Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and SEN teams to implement behaviour strategies.
* Build positive relationships with students, offering mentoring and guidance.
* Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours in line with school policies.
* Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individual support plans.
The Successful Candidate Will
* Experience working with young people in an educational or support role.
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach to working with students.
* Ability to build trust and positive relationships with students and staff.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
