Director of Digital Transformation and Innovation 1.0 FTE / 35 hours Based at Falkirk Campus Permanent Forth Valley College is seeking a Director of Digital Transformation and Innovation to join the Leadership & Management Team. This pivotal role will be responsible for leading and delivering the College's Digital Transformation Strategy, embedding cutting-edge technologies, and ensuring digital excellence across all aspects of teaching, learning, and operations. This role presents a unique opportunity to enhance and transform services through the integration of AI, digital learning, and IT systems, delivering additional value for students and staff. What You'll Be Doing Strategic Digital Leadership: Lead the Digital Transformation Strategy, aligning digital initiatives with the College's strategic priorities. Innovation & Technology Integration: Drive the implementation of AI, E-Learning, and IT development to enhance digital learning and operational efficiency. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with academic and operational leaders to embed digital best practices and align transformation efforts with institutional goals. Partnerships & Emerging Technologies: Engage with industry and external stakeholders to leverage the latest digital innovations. Leadership & Team Development: Lead and manage the Head of IT and associated teams, ensuring high performance and fostering a culture of innovation. Governance & Compliance: Oversee budgets, compliance, and risk management to ensure the cost-effective and secure delivery of digital services. What We're Looking For Experience: Proven track record in leading large-scale digital transformation and organisational change. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of AI, data-driven solutions, IT strategy, and digital learning environments. Leadership & Influence: Ability to engage, inspire, and influence stakeholders at all levels. Essential Qualifications A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Business) or equivalent industry experience. Desirable Qualifications A management or business qualification.
