At Hays Credit Management, we are delighted to be partnering with a successful Dorking-based organisation on an exclusive basis, to recruit a credit controller to join their team. This is a fixed-term contract role, covering maternity leave. The role could be employed on either a full-time (37.5 hours a week) or part-time (30 hours a week) basis.
Your new role:
Working as part of a small and friendly finance team, your role will focus on credit control and sales ledger duties.
* Daily chasing of payments, by telephone, email and letter
* Resolving any invoice-related queries or disputes
* Monitoring credit worthiness of customers
* Monitoring the credit control inbox
* Providing customers with copy invoices, statements and credit notes as required
* Assisting with finance admin tasks such as posting and reconciling
* Weekly and monthly aged debtor reports and reviews.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in credit control and sales ledger administration. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, proven organisational ability and will be computer-literate. You must also be a self-starter, who (after training) can manage your own work load, and perform effectively on a hybrid basis.
