An opportunity has arisen for a Shift Manager in the High Risk Department. As a Manager within the business, you are expected to work towards delivery of your assigned KPI’s while encouraging an inclusive and collaborative attitude towards interdepartmental relationships. Additionally, you will be constantly working to demonstrate tangible and sustained KPI improvement under the five manufacturing pillars.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the operation of an assigned area in terms of H&S, production, quality, cost, delivery, technical compliance, and HR.
2. Collaborative working with other shift and department leaders for delivering and exceeding the key performance indicators.
3. Desire to continually improve using Lean tools to reduce costs, improve quality, and productivity.
4. Responsibility to deliver Quality and Compliance at all times.
5. People Management responsibility for team members.
Requirements, Experience, and Person Specification:
1. Previous experience of FMCG manufacturing operations (preferably food related) (Essential).
2. Proven track record of managing teams.
3. Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
4. Proven track record in achieving compliance and consistent product via following agreed processes and systems.
5. Ability to interact with customers and work towards leading audits.
General Attainment and Training:
1. All core training and core procedures.
2. Level 4 Food Safety.
3. All relevant site/area policies, procedures, and practices (Including customer specific codes of practice).
4. Relevant experience in lean management and root cause analysis tools.
