Position Summary:
They are seeking an experienced full time Tenancy Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing their own portfolio of properties, ensuring both landlords and tenants receive a high level of service. This role requires a well-organised, proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong background in tenancy management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Portfolio Management: Independently manage a portfolio of properties, overseeing the tenancy life cycle from start to finish.
* Tenant Relations: Act as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Landlord Communication: Keep landlords informed about their properties, including rental payments, property condition and tenancy renewals.
* Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all documentation is up to date, adhering to current legislation and company policies. Conduct routine inspections, process renewals, and oversee end-of-tenancy procedures.
* Problem Solving: Resolve issues promptly and professionally, ensuring tenant and landlord satisfaction while protecting the company’s interests.
* Rent Collection: Monitor rent payments and arrears, taking necessary action to address late payments.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in tenancy management, ideally within a letting agency.
* Strong knowledge of property management software and tenancy legislation.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
