The Role
Geowarmth is seeking a skilled Heat Pump Installer to join our team, specialising in the installation and maintenance of air and ground source heat pump systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with renewable energy technologies and a strong background in plumbing and heating installations.
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00-5:00pm
Responsibilities:
* Installation & Setup: Install heat pump systems following manufacturer specifications and local regulations.
* Maintenance & Repair: Perform maintenance services and troubleshoot issues with heat pump systems.
* System Testing & Commissioning: Conduct tests to ensure proper system functionality.
* Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding installation and maintenance.
* Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate records of installations and service calls.
* Compliance & Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and comply with local codes.
* Training & Development: Stay current with industry trends and improve skills through ongoing training.
What we’re looking for:
* Qualified Professional: Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Domestic HWSS (Unvented) Regulations Qualification.
* Heating and Hot Water Systems: Experience in installing unvented cylinders and underfloor heating.
* Renewable Energy Technologies: Experience installing air and/or ground source heat pumps.
* Electrical Work: Familiarity with minor electrical works is preferred.
* Relevant certifications (HETAS, Gas Safe, F-Gas) would be highly beneficial.
* CSCS card.
