Job Description:
Weekly scheduling of process or packing lines:
* Adhere to and coordinate the weekly planning process, convert the central production requirements to a short-detailed optimized production sequence considering the available capacity, material constraints and factory resources.
* Challenge central production requirements.
* Participate in weekly planning meetings to carry out scheduling in line with other areas.
* Act as business partner to the production teams to understand their labor, maintenance and project plans and build appropriate plans and contingencies.
* Communicate available capacity and scheduled downtimes to Central Planning.
* Manage stakeholders (central planning, production departments, planning and logistics team).
* Monitor and review plan daily and escalate where needed.
* Capacity utilization understanding.
* Ability to take independent production schedule change decisions in complex production environments.
* Provide input operating strategy.
KPIs Delivery:
* Monitor and report relevant KPIs for Production compliance (TOP, TAP, CSL, Production Frequency).
* Analyze deviations, propose corrective and preventive actions and implement solutions.
* Analyze line performance and propose changes.
MOS/Improvements:
* Key Member of OPS meetings.
* Involved in the deployment of MOS initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
* Uses standard MOS and continuous improvement tools.
Safety:
* Act as a role model for safety.
* Comply with all SHE rules and (food) quality and safety according to JDE Guidelines.
Semi-Finished Goods Planning:
* Schedule the deliveries of coffees made in other production sites or sourced from production hub to meet packing plan requirements.
* Manage inventory to AOP Targets.
External Coffee Supply:
* Manage forecast, consumption, and monitor & track arrival of all externally sourced coffee.
Systems and Master data (if applicable):
* Maintain APO Master Data.
* Set up of new materials in systems as required.
Qualifications:
Education:
* Educated to Bachelor Degree level in supply chain or intellectually of Degree Caliber.
* Languages: Fluent; English.
Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years working experience in a manufacturing/logistic/supply chain/new product development job.
* Preferable with system knowledge (SAP).
* Experience in a FMCG company is a must.
Competency:
* Strong planning & supply chain experience with ability to manage multiple inputs from different departments with effective prioritization.
* High level of drive and self-motivation, ambitious to succeed and prepared to go the extra mile.
* Ability to manage relationships at all levels across a wide variety of functions to achieve results with limited authority.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business and the ability to demonstrate strong facilitation and meetings management skills.
* Highly numerate with excellent PC skills and Excel expert.
* Ability to apply MOS/LEAN tools (e.g., VSM, SMED, KAIZEN) to improve operations, planning & logistical processes.
* Understanding of import and export processes – desired skill.
