Bell Cornwall Recruitment’s client is a growing accountancy practice who are opening a new office in Sutton Coldfield. They are expanding into a new office and need to grow their team with a new bookkeeper to support with their expanding client base.
The Role:
* Undertake bookkeeping for a variety of clients as allocated by the line manager inputting data and processing payments as required
* Maintain a full and accurate audit trail by filing and referencing documents in a timely manner
* Adhere to proper accounting standards
* Meet deadlines and time budgets
* Advise line manager of any outstanding issues
* Complete VAT returns for allocated clients
The ideal Bookkeeper will have:
* 2 years or more Bookkeeping experience preferred
* Knowledge of a number of accounting packages (XERO/ SAGE / Quickbooks)
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Organised and methodical
* Client focused
* Strong IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel, to an intermediate level, for the production of letters and spreadsheets
* Happy to work in the office full time in Sutton Coldfield
