Impact As a Associate Development Chef, you will play a key role in the development and execution of new food products while supporting the continuous improvement of our current offerings. You will take a hands-on approach to food creation, working from ingredient arrival to the final product assembly. Your role will allow our senior development chef to focus on strategic and high-level tasks while you ensure high-quality standards and efficient production. Key Responsibilities End-to-end menu development, including concept creation, recipe development with clear cooking methods, process development, packing specifications, photo shoots, and launches. Collaborate with senior team members to execute the stage gate process, ensuring that new products are designed, tested, and ready for launch. Take ownership of hands-on tasks for product launches, training teams, shadowing product launches and implementing process improvements. Travel to photoshoots to cook and present products to a high visual standard, with meticulous attention to detail. Prepare ingredients and components for photoshoots and development work. Propose and implement improvements to existing recipes, ensuring practical execution. Regularly create and cook bespoke dishes for VIPs and events, maintaining a high standard of quality. Conduct batch recipe testing, yield analysis, and product trials, including scale-up and ingredient trials. Adopt a proactive, hands-on approach to all tasks. Foster a positive, collaborative, and efficient working environment. Focus on driving operational efficiencies while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Maintain adherence to HACCP and food hygiene regulations, ensuring equipment is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
