We seek an Inside Sales Representative to support our business in Europe and manage and grow sales with new and existing customers (pharma, biotech, CROs, Academia, and channel partners) via telephone and electronic means in the assigned territory. The main focus is lead prospecting and qualification, opportunity creation, and closing opportunities to meet the territory's annual sales targets through utilizing our established standard work.
What we’ll get you doing:
1. Achieve Monthly and Annual Quotas in the designated territory via telesales.
2. Provide updates to sales pipeline via funnel reviews forecasts, and marketing reviews.
3. Grow, Develop, and maintain a sales territory via a time and territory plan.
4. Identify, qualify, develop, support, and close sales of the Molecular Devices system portfolio (Single-Mode Absorbance Plate readers, Axon Instruments).
5. Maintain & develop revenue through current and new channel partners.
6. Prepare and present basic product demonstrations and training to existing and new customers.
7. Develop, update, and maintain a high degree of accuracy and integrity, the prospect database (SFDC), and existing customer lists and monitor sales growth.
8. Close liaison with other business team members to ensure flawless customer support from initial interest to post-sales support.
9. Maintain a high level of technical and application competence of Molecular Devices products.
10. Supervise competitor’s activities, products, and potential new or improved applications or product extensions.
11. Contribute, drive, and evaluate efficiency of Molecular Devices’ marketing programs.
12. Attend trade shows, seminars, and workshops as well as maintaining customer contacts to develop and improve sales skills.
13. Perform other related duties as assigned. Flexible and willing to take on new challenges.
14. Initiate and participate in the thoughtful use of DBS tools.
The essential requirements of the role include:
1. Degree educated in a science subject or qualified by experience.
2. Experience in a fast-paced Inside Sales or Telemarketing role within the Life Sciences industry and a proven track record.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Sales driven, self-starter, organized, confident and a team player.
5. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
6. French-speaking - the ability to fluently speak, read and write in French. Other European language fluencies a plus.
7. Experience of using SalesForce.
8. Familiarity with analytical tools, such as Power BI, and other Microsoft Office suite of applications.
9. Experience of working in an international environment, with global accounts across Europe and the US.
