We are working with a large contractor, undertaking a variety of schemes in the West Midlands. We are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, someone who's looking to grow their career.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Create cost-to-complete reports and ensure accurate monthly accruals are prepared.
Assess and manage subcontract valuations and process applications for payment.
Perform cost analysis for subcontracts, from initial tender enquiry to final contract placement.
Supervise and manage subcontract agreements to ensure smooth operations.
Track and maintain profitability targets.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Experience working for a contractor previously
Self-driven with the ability to provide guidance to junior Quantity Surveyors.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and adaptable to technology / software
