Job Title: Software Support Specialist
Location: Clacton-On-Sea
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum
Cooper Lomaz are delighted to be working with a business based in Clacton-On-Sea to source a Software Support Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will join an expanding business, and you will have an essential role within the business to support customers with the implementation and maintenance of their products.
Role Overview:
As a Software Support Specialist, you will be customer-facing, so outstanding customer service skills are essential. You will be supporting customers remotely, identifying root causes to technical problems, and collaborating with internal teams to reduce future support.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Be the first point of support to the customers.
2. Provide remote support, communicating effectively to troubleshoot and resolve issues, or escalate to the relevant team member.
3. Collaborate with in-house teams such as Product Owners, engineering, or relevant colleagues to ensure effective resolution.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer base.
5. Document inbound tickets and create knowledge-based/Troubleshooting guides.
Skills:
1. Experience working within an IT technical role.
2. Experience troubleshooting software applications.
3. Hold experience with CRM or ERP systems like Salesforce.
4. Strong and effective customer service and communication skills.
5. Development skills in PHP, C#, HTML, or .NET is a desirable skill.
Salary & Location:
This role is an office-based role and will require you to be onsite full time. This position is available on a full-time permanent basis.
