Overview of project/role:
Reporting to a Comms DLO Work Controller you will be responsible for ensuring that the Comms DLO Assets are maintained and delivered into service in a safe and timely manner. In addition to this, supporting other LUL business units whenever instructed to by their Line Manager.
Key Accountabilities:
* Gather information
* Report lack of information to relevant persons
* Assemble tools, equipment and materials
* Check tools, equipment and materials
* Deal promptly and effectively with problems within his/her control
* Report other deviations which cannot be solved
* Follow the correct process/operations for the allocated task
* Establish and maintain communication with the relevant persons
* Take action to rectify the defective asset
* Complete documentation in accordance with company procedures
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Knowledge:
* Understanding of maintenance in an engineering discipline
* Working knowledge of LU Comms equipment associated with the maintenance techniques supportive of the Technical Capability testing functions
* A basic knowledge of Inspection and Testing Techniques
* Experience in maintenance of PAVA & LFEPA systems
* Completed apprenticeship in a related engineering discipline
* Clear and concise report writing

Licences:
* IRSE 2.4.106 license category or up to date log book to show progress on attaining licence
* Lifts and Escalators Entry Permit (Desirable)
