Job Advertisement: Senior Client Accountant
This role is advertised on behalf of our client.
We are seeking a fully qualified accountant or someone who is on track to complete their Level 7 studies within the next 6 months, with no more than 2 exams remaining, to join a well-established accountancy and business advisory firm based in Surrey. This is a fully office-based role, and candidates must meet the location and transport requirements specified below.
Position Details:
* Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday 9:00 - 17:30
* Location: Shepperton, with occasional travel to our West Horsley branch
* Salary: £39,000 - £44,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Important Note on Location & Transport:
This is a fully office-based role, and candidates must live within 15 miles of the Shepperton office. Additionally, due to the office's location, candidates must have a valid driving licence and access to a car, as public transport and walking routes are not available. Reliable personal transport is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver a full range of accounting and tax services to clients.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts and VAT returns.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.

* Contribute to practice growth by embracing new processes and technologies.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant or on track to complete Level 7 studies within 6 months (no more than 2 exams remaining).
* Experience: A minimum of 4 years in a UK-based accountancy practice.
* Tech Proficiency: Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and strong proficiency in MS Excel.
* Location: Must live within 15 miles of Shepperton.
* Transport: Valid driving licence and access to a car.
* Skills: Strong communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
