SEN Teacher required
Your new company
If you are looking for a new role, then this could be the perfect position for you. At Hays, we work with a number of schools in Blackpool and the surrounding areas, and many of these schools are always looking to supply teachers on an immediate start due to increased demand. These schools are SEN-focused, and the available positions include day-to-day, short-term, and long-term roles. This could be ideal if you want to work part-time, are new to teaching, or wish to take a step back from full responsibilities as a full class teacher.
Your new role
Your main responsibilities will include delivering lessons for absent teachers, using the lesson plans provided, and ensuring pupils stay engaged with their learning. Flexibility and adaptability are essential to meet the needs of pupils. You may be required to mark work from the lessons you cover or liaise with parents if you secure a long-term role. This position offers a great opportunity to broaden your experience across various schools and year groups, expanding your knowledge.
What you'll need to succeed
You must hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You should be enthusiastic, approachable, and able to start immediately.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid a competitive daily rate and gain valuable working experience. You will also receive support from an experienced personal consultant who has established strong relationships with local schools, along with free career development courses and CV and interview advice.
